This is a contracted service for the periodic visit and status report of a 7 Mile Beach property on a weekly or bimonthly basis for the “Peace Of Mind” of the property owner. The property visits run from November 1, 2007 through May 12, 2008. A property status report of the visit will be emailed to the homeowner after each visit. If any emergency issue is detected during the property visit the owner will be contacted immediately by phone and/or e-mail.
The cost, based on the frequency of visits required by the home owner is as follows:
- Bimonthly Property Visits (14 visits at $45) $ 630.00 per off season
Weekly Property Visits (28 visits at $40) $ 1,120. 00 per off season
**Please Note: Contract must be signed and payment in full received prior to the first
property visit by a Five Star Resort Property Service Representative.
The off season inspection includes the following:
- Security – All Windows and Doors closed and locked (if locking device is present and operating properly)
Water, Weather or Wind damage – Visual checks around interior windows, ceilings, floors and outside exterior of home for any visual damage
Heating – Check temperature setting on thermostat (s) as per owners instructions and actual temperature reading in home -
Smoke and CO detectors – green light on and test beep working
All Faucets, Toilets and Showers In Interior Bathrooms Checked For Leakage
Refrigerator & Freezer Checked To See If It Is Running On Selected Temperature
Outside grounds – Visual check for any damage and or debris on owner’s property
Any mail found outside will be placed inside the property
Lights – Check to see that all lights are turned off unless owner specifies differently
Report – Emailed to the homeowner within two days of each property visit
Phone contact – To homeowner of any major problem detected
This property check does not guarantee that the property will not experience any functional and/or storm related challenges during the off season. However, these property visits are designed to offer the homeowner a set of extra eyes watching over their investment and vacation property while they are out of town. “PEACE OF MIND”, in other words, to enjoy life elsewhere while someone is watching over their investment in Avalon and Stone Harbor for them.
